What Do You Like Most About Your Job?
The best part of my job is getting to fight for injured workers to get the full benefits, both medical and indemnity, that they are entitled to. I had a brief tenure in working on the side of the insurance company and seeing how unjustly they often treat injured workers made me realize how important protecting those rights is to me.
What Do You Like Least?
I understand the role of the insurance carrier’s attorney requires them to protect their client, but unfounately sometimes they cut every corner to avoid or delay providing benefits they know the claimant is entitled to.
How Would You Describe Your Approach to a Case?
One unique thing I do is try to put my mind in the head of a carrier representative…what defenses can they raise against my claim? I feel this allows me to be prepared for all challenges they may raise.
